Privacy Policy
Haircut AI (“the App”) helps you preview hairstyles using photos you choose. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle and why. It is written for App Store / TestFlight distribution and reflects the product’s current privacy design.
Who we are
Haircut AI is operated by PIM Space. For privacy questions, contact support@haircutai.fun.
Photos and generated looks
- Source photos and generated previews are stored with local keys on your device whenever the App is operating in its on-device / authenticated-asset model.
- The App does not publish public image URLs by default.
- When a photo is prepared for generation, metadata that is not needed for the preview (for example EXIF location tags) is stripped.
- Photos are not sent to analytics providers.
- Generated images are for your private preview use unless you explicitly share them yourself.
AI generation processing
To create hairstyle previews, the App may send a prepared photo and style request to a generation service operated by us or our processors. Server-side credentials are kept on our infrastructure; they are not embedded in the mobile client. Processing is limited to producing your requested previews.
Account and app data
If you sign in, we may store account identifiers such as provider type and email address associated with your session. The App also stores product data you create (profiles, looks, comparisons, preferences) so the experience can resume on that device.
Analytics
Product analytics are off unless enabled by configuration. When enabled, events must not include source photos, image URLs, or raw prompts. We do not use analytics for biometric identification.
Children and family profiles
Family features may allow guardian-managed profiles, including child profiles with an explicit guardian acknowledgement before generating looks. Do not upload photos of people without appropriate permission. The App is not intended as a biometric identification system.
Deletion and control
- You can delete individual photos, people, and generated looks from Settings → Data.
- Account deletion is available from the same Data settings entry point.
- Deleting data on-device removes the local records the App manages; if a generation job already left our processors, residual transient processing copies are discarded according to processor retention limits.
Third parties
We use infrastructure and generation processors solely to run the App. We do not sell personal information. Payments, when enabled, are handled by Apple’s In-App Purchase system under Apple’s terms.
Data retention
We retain account and support correspondence as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. On-device libraries remain until you delete them or remove the App.
International users
Haircut AI may be operated from Australia and use processors in other countries. By using the App you understand your information may be processed in those locations with appropriate safeguards.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
